Multi-Therm 750 Supreme
The MULTI-THERM® 750 SUPREME is the first pre-insulated piping system fortified with Aerogel nanotechnology for the most advanced and thermally efficient steam and hot water transportation piping system.
® XT insulation on the service pipe with polyurethane foam on the outer casing to achieve the most energy effi cient piping system available for high temperature applications. The better insulation value of Pyrogel® XT results in a thinner insulation and smaller outer casing, saving both space and money. Pyrogel® XT is an aerogel insulation formed from 3% silica solids with 97% air in extremely small nanopores. These characteristics make aerogel the world’s lowest density solid and most effective thermal insulator. Its required thickness is typically 50% to 80% less than other high temperature insulation materials. Unlike these other insulations, Pyrogel® XT is hydrophobic and provides excellent resistance to moisture.
Galva-Gard
GALVA-GARD® the original "corrosion fighter" just got better. As always, galvanization is applied to the exterior, as well as the interior of the outer pipe providing a clean, corrosion resistant system for underground heat distribution. Now PERMA-PIPE® has added a thick cladding of fiberglass reinforced plastic on top of the galvanized system for maximum resistance to adverse corrosion and environmental conditions. There is no need for cathodic protection. The outer conduit is clad with our filament wound fiberglass cladding 100 mils thick and designed to withstand a 35,000 volt holiday test.
GALVA-GARD® is a smooth wall, hot dipped galvanized, 10 gauge steel conduit. Single or multiple steel carrier pipes can be insulated with any type of pipe insulation. We recommend mineral wool that has passed a certified boiling test. Other options for this piping system include a Energy Loss Detection and Location system and electric heat tracing.
Xtru-Therm
XTRU-THERM® is our "State of the Art" pre-insulated piping system for fluids from cryogenic temperatures up to 250ºF. The extruded HDPE jacket results in a completely bonded system that moves as a single unit for maximum efficiency and service life.
XTRU-THERM® is a process driven product, developed to eliminate problems inherent in foam injected systems. The pipe is insulated using a special spray applied continuous feed insulating process which works in line with our extruded high density polyethylene jacket material. The jacket remains flexible at low temperatures and has a higher temperature rating than PVC. The HDPE jacket has been specifically designed to bond to the insulation which allows the system to be used for both above and underground insulated pipe applications. The hardness, tensile and flexural strength, toughness, diameter and thickness of the jacket are all controlled to remain within specifications. The foam insulation is spray-applied and rises, unrestricted, to its final thickness. The free rise allows cell structure of the foam to be uniform in all directions. Because the foam is spray-applied and not injected, XTRU-THERM® is guaranteed to be 100% void-free.
Polytherm
POLYTHERM® is a fiberglass jacketed; spray applied polyurethane foam insulated piping system for above and below ground distribution of liquids from -320°F to 250°F. PERMA-PIPE's multi-directional filament winding process produces a high strength fiberglass reinforced polymer resin jacket (FRP) over the insulation for maximum protection from the environment. This high-strength fiberglass jacket is applied to systems having an outside diameter as large as 48 inches. Electric heat tracing is an option with this system.
POLYTHERM®'s spray insulation process assures void-free insulation. By applying insulation before the jacket is applied, complete visual inspection of the insulation is performed. This process assures void-free insulation and therefore, maximum thermal efficiency to provide optimum performance of cryogenic and heat thermal distribution systems. The POLYTHERM® system is fully engineered to job specifications, thereby reducing field costs by providing custom made, factory-fabricated fittings which reduce the number of field connections as compared to the field kit method.
Ultra-Therm

PALCOM® 10 w/GLS is an interactive remote monitoring software package designed to monitor PAL-AT® cable leak detection systems and LiquidWatch® probe leak detection systems. PALCOM enables an operator to monitor events on up to 254 systems from one location.
PALCOM is supplied with two auxiliary programs, GLSViewer and GraphViewer. Graphic Locator System (GLS) drawings are displayed with GLSViewer. A GLS drawing displays a leak detection installation. A flashing icon identifies the location of a problem on a sensor cable or probe. This enables an operator to locate the problem quickly without having to locate a hardcopy site reference drawing.
PALCOM funtions include
-
Automonitor - continuously checks all leak detection systems and updates the status of the systems 24/7. The status of each system and each cable is displayed.
-
AutoGLS - automatically opens GLSViewer when an event is detected in Automonitor and locates the event on the GLS drawing. GLSViewer can be displayed on a 2nd monitor, such as in a work area, to be more visible and conspicuous.
-
SMS - email and text messages are sent when an event is detected. Email messages include several images of the GLS drawings which zoom in to the event location. This provides 24/7 notification of leak detection events to any location.
